40 beauty tips and tricks with a surprise

Okay 40 beauty tips and tricks I have learned

1.) honey is a great moisterizer for once a week: splash warm water on your face to open our pores, put honey on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water to close your pores
2.) natural homemade exfoliator for lips, face, and body: sugar and a little olive oil, mix untill a pastey consistencey
3.) natural eye makeup remover: olive oil
4.) eyedrops bring down the redness of pimples temporairly
5.) don't test any face products on the back of your hand: your hand skin shade is totally different than your face shade
6.) in the summer, put little lemon juice in your roots, work it through your hair with a wide tooth comb, sit in the sun for 10 minutes and you'll have natural highlights
7.) want waves in your hair? shower at night, but your hair in one or more braids and sleep with the braid/s in and in the morning take them out and comb them DON'T BRUSH THEM!
8.) to get your nails to dry totally quicker, run them under ice cold water
9.) getting bored of your hair? change your part. Changing your part to the side or other side or middle totally changes up the look.
10.) for a flush on your cheeks that looks like you just were outside in the cold, try a bright red or brick blush over a pink.
11.) bright red pimples? put mint green concelar on it to cancel out the red and then put a skin toned conelar over it
12.)purple eyeshadow looks good on everyone
13.) sunscreen on your face every day (even in the winter) helps prevent sunspots and wrinkling when your older
14.) want gorgeous model lashes? layer lots of different mascaras
15.) want your eyes to look bigger but it still looking natural? tight line! Press where your crease is on your eye with a q-tip, and apply a pencil liner under your upper lasher
16.) another way to make your eyes bigger with eyeliner is applying eyeliner on your water line. Your water line is that little flap of skin above your lower lash line.
17.) curl your lashes with a curler for a least 10 seconds
18.) to make your lashes even longer with a lash curler is to blow it with your hair dryer for 10 seconds. Remember, in order to get your hair to curl, you use heat, so that's how you get your lashes to curl
19.) always curl your lashes BEFORE you apply mascara, never after or risk pulling out your lashes
20.) wash your face twice at night, the first time to get off your makeup and second time to cleanse your face
21.) when painting your nails red, make sure to put on a base or risk your nails turning a yucky shade of yellow
okay surprise! I only did 21, For two different reasons
1.) I could only thinks of 21
2.) my best friend jane is OBSESSED with the number 21

"The dress"

Well I had a snow day today. I hate snow. I'm used to it since I'm a new englander but that doesn't mean I like it. So I was trying to ignore it while looking at spring collections for my favorite stores. When I came across "the dress". The perfect, amazing, wonderful, fantastic dress. The dress that I would live in if I get it. (which I do hope to get =) ) it's from american eagle: here's the link: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?catId=cat1320034&productId=1396_9467
I love it so much, I spent 10 minutes straight just gagaing over it. It comes in black, purple and blue. My favorite is the blue but I also like the purple but not a big fan about the black. It's a spring/summer dress. Spring/summer dresses should be fun, bright colors in my opinion. It would be the most perfect sun dress for me. The only problem? $44.95. $45 is too much for a dress for me unless it's a formal dress, which it definatly isn't. I'm going to be constally monitoring it and waiting for the price to go down, even if I have to wait untill the fall when it's on clearence. I don't care. I want that dress. I know, I sound so bratty. I've never liked a clothing piece this much. I love the two strings at the top that remind of the strings on hoodies. I love the empire waist and how it's so flowy and light. I'm going to say bye before I totally bore you to death about my obsession over the dress. bye <3

Weird New Obsession: Banana Chips

Hello everyone, Sarah here =) with a weird new obsession (obviously cuz that's what the title is =) )
So I was in walmart today getting clothes hangers and ponytails. I found them and I was just wondering around, I found the dried fruits and nuts section. Everything was pretty exspensive so I was going to leave but then I saw banana chips for a dollar. A DOLLAR! I grabbed them even though I had never had them but I liked bananas so why not? when I was putting the stuff in my backseat, I grabbed the banana chips to eat on the way home.THEY WERE AMAZING. They're soooooo good. I like the taste of bananas but I don't like the mushiness. But since these are banana "chips" they're crunchy and amzing. I'm eating them right now since they gave me a big bag. All it contains is bananas, cocunut oil and sugar. The first thing I noticed when I first tried them were how they were sweeter than regular bananas. it has two cups in the bags and 30 grams of sugar. Kinda a lot of sugar but I'll have them when I'm craving something unhealthy I think even though they're really good for you. So this has nothing to do with beauty and fashion but whatever.

Tag! Beauty Story!

So this is a tag that's going around the beauty makeup world and since I'm not a youtube girlie but I still want to do it I am! Juicystar07 tagged anyone who wanted to do it so I guess she tagged me? dunno but here's the questions and answers I also tag anyone who wants to do it.
1. How old were you when you started wearing makeup?
hmmm well let's see, I remember in 2nd grade at my birthday party I got a little kid makeup set from a friend. It had nail polish and lipstick and maybe eyeshadow? I dunno, I wasn't really into it, I was more into toys and stuff. My mom never wheres makeup (ever!) but in May in 5th grade for a wedding we were going to she got eyeshadow for blue eyes (I have brown eyes) pink blush, and pink lipstick. she put the blush and lipstick on me and I felt really confident. I found the beauty community on youtube and I was hooked. I learned a lot and when I came back to school in the fall I found a friend who loved makeup and the beauty society on youtube (luv ya kayla!)  Now all my friends get me makeup for present and kayla and I share lots of makeup. I loved talking about it, and learning new tricks and secrets.
2. How did you get into makeup?
well I pretty much told you in the first question
3. What are some of your favorite brands?
well being in middle school, I don't really go for high end like mac and landcome, I use drugstore, my favorite drugstore rand in maybelline and revlon in second and cover girl and then almay
4. What does makeup mean to you?
makeup is a art, it's like painting and drawing on your face, it's a hobbie, and it's a passion
5. If you could only wear 4 products on your face what would they be?
blush, sunscreen, moisterizer, and eyeshadow? is eyeshadow on your face, dunno
6. What is your favorite thing about makeup?
confidence, confidence, confidence, I love making over my friends and have them not be able to stop looking at themself in the mirror, I love having that bounce in your step when you're wearing a new product.
7. What do you think about drugstore makeup vs high end makeup?
um, well I just stick to drugstore and it works for me =)
8. What is one tip of advice you can give to a beginner?
don't be afraid to try, I used to be scared of black eyeshadow, just try it, do it in your bedroom or bathroom so no one sees you but you
9. What is one makeup trend you never understood?
neon eyeshadows, ewwwww, save them for halloween
10. What do you think about the beauty community on YouTube?
it's amazing, I've learned so many things that I would have never learned if I hadn't watch it

okay well that's my post, enjoy!

My Style

Well I thought to get to know me better, I could tell you my style. For makeup I keep it pretty simple, my skins good so i stick to just always taking care of my skin but no powder, no foundation, no tinted moisturizer, no concealer, no nothing, Bronzer is useless on me, it just looks so fake with my pale as a ghost skin. I use blush, I stick to beigish pinkish tones and baby pinks. For eye shadows I love caramels and tans and just light and medium browns in general. If I wanna go daring, I do lavender. Lips are frosty pinks, beigish pinks, and roses.  Hair is kept down a lot. just my natural loose curls, although my full bangs can get crazy so every few days I straighten them. Nails are liked to keep low key, light colors and neutrals. For clothes, very classic and little on the preppy side. All staples, don't go big on the latest trends. I like blue jeans, cardigans, camisoles, graphic tees,     capries , flowy tank tops and shorts in the summer. For accessories, I like heart neclaces, colorful studs, my signature bracelet, for my birthday in a couple of days, I'm hoping for a charm bracelet and then that'll be my signature thing. For shoes I love ballet flats, flip flops, converse, and platform skater shoes even though I can't skate board since I'm a total clutz. So that's my style beginning to end.
